Relationship between a tropical cyclone landing on southern China and development of cyclone disturbance in eastern China which induces heavy rainfall over the Korean peninsula

1.Introduction Heavy rainfall is likely to be induced in the Korean peninsula when the cyclone occurs around the eastern part of China.Thus,the development and movement of cyclones around the eastern part of China are very important elements for predicting heavy rainfall over the Korean peninsula.However,the Korean peninsula is under the influence of the complexity and variety of synoptic systems because of the geographical location.Especially,two or three tropical cyclones (TC) have directly affected to the Korean peninsula per year.When considering indirect effects (Byun and Lee,2012),three or four TCs have affected to the Korean peninsula.
