VOC Free Expandable Polystyrene

摘要

A technique for foaming EPS without a VOC blowing agent has been developed in the NOVA Chemicals lab. This is being designed to be compatible with conventional EPS converting equipment. NOVA Chemicals is currently testing the process in pilot scale reactors, and, has built a prototype of the pre-expansion equipment, with a development partner. This prototype was recently installed in NOVA Chemicals' applications lab.
