In this paper the typical Viterbi chain under non-AWGN noise/interference was investigated. BER curves in Narrow-Band Noise and Narrow-Band Interference were obtained and discussed. It was shown that Viterbi chain is not enough resistant to such forms of interference. Then some recommendations of its improvement have been proposed.
