摘要

Two kinds of approaches have been used in literature to discuss the wave propagation in a liquid-bubble mixture: The effective equation approach for equivalent medium and the multiple scattering approach. Theoretical and numerical comparisons of them are given in this paper and show their identity in dealing with the propagation of linear pressure waves in bubbly liquids. Possible applications of these two methods ate also discussed.
