Using a time-domain back-projection based focusing algorithm in combination with three tomographic focusing techniquesrn(multilook standard beamforming, robust Capon beamforming, and MUSIC) a 3D volume containing a forestedrnarea has been tomographically imaged at L- and P-band. In this paper, we present further results and insights obtained byrnprocessing and analyzing these data sets with respect to the localization of the scattering sources using the three differentrnfocusing techniques, as well as for both, the two frequency bands and the different polarimetric channels.
