THE PHOTOCHROMIC LIQUID-CRYSTALLINE SYSTEMS WITH DOUBLE MEMORY

摘要

The photochromic liquid-crystalline (LC) compositions with double memory are obtained. The compositions are characterized with two controlled intensive bands. The first-Bragg reflecting band corresponds to liquid-crystalline phase, which is formed in cholesteric LC system in the presence of molecules with bent and non-planar geometrical structures. The second band corresponds to the absorption of photo-induced component. The first band is controlled by temperature, second - by light.
