How to scientifically process mass data of traditional military training management to provide the decision support for decision-makers becomes a new problem in the military training. Aiming at the military training management of army, the three layer system structure of military training assistant decision support system is put forward. According to the characteristic of military training, DW assistant decision is realized by using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft Analysis Service. Because the multi-dimension data in DW is analyzed by OLAP, the decision-maker gets new visible and more valuable data. Then the capability of assistant decision is improved. The contents are as follows: 1 、Characteristics of military training score distribution are discussed. Aiming at the problems of assistant decision in traditional military training database management system, DW is selected as an effective approach to solve the problem. 2 、Aiming at the characteristics of military training assistant decision, military training assistant decision system with three layer architecture is put forward. Assistant decision system is divided into fountain-data layer, information layer and decision-making layer. Fountain-data layer and decision-making layer is bond with information layer. Fountain-data layer contains training score data in great various military training management system and some other fountain-data documents. Information layer contains base DW, various brigade corps data bazaar, method warehouse and model warehouse. Base DW is hard-core in Information layer. Decision-making layer is analysis decision-making platform in military training assistant decision-making support system. 3 、DW structure is scientifically designed. System DW is divided into base DW and brigade corps data bazaar. The hierarchy minishes the data quantity in decision-making and improves the time-effect quality in brigade corps decision-making. 4 、Establish of DW is realized by using similar quick prototype method as exploitation method. Prototype system is quickly established and is submitted for user probation, and then according to user feedback, requirement is adjusted on time, making the prototype system gradually mature. 5 、The design of DW model of military training assistant decision-making support system contains subject analysis, concept model design, logic model design, physic model design and brigade corps data bazaar design.
