摘要

For data warehouse developers, the core issue is how to design logical and accurate granularities at the initial design stage. This paper describes granularities of data warehouse by combining the granular computing theory of quotient space with the data warehouse modeling theory. Based upon the precision of the problem calculation, the data warehouse model is constructed by choosing a proper granular layer to obtain the desired processing results, thus the speed and efficiency of knowledge mining are improved.
