Elelctrocatalyst durability and activity have been recently recognized as the most important issues to address before the commercialization of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). In this manuscript, we present a novel thiolated CNTs (SHCNTs) support by directly linking thiol groups on the CNTs surface for preparation high dispersion and durability Pt/SH-CNTs catalyst. The SH-CNTs have abundant -SH groups on their surface, serving as anchor centers for achieving high Pt dispersion.
