摘要

Discriminating the hydrochemical characteristics of groundwater plays an important role for the water-inrush prevented and cured efficiently in mine. Piper diagram is a conventional method for Analysing groundwater hydrochemistry. However, it is not sensitive for the subtle variance of groundwater quality. In this study, the correspondence analysis method is applied on the study of normal hydrochemistry characteristics of groundwater in Xieqiao Coal Mine, Huainan; The subtle variance of the water quality of outflow from the return aircourse in different periods. Piper diagram is used to compare with the correspondence analysis method. Results show that:① the correspondence analysis method can identify the total hydrochemical characteristics as Piper diagram does. ② the correspondence analysis method can also reflect subtler variance in groundwater quality and more correlation information among the samples and indexes, ③besides the six conventional indexes, the correspondence analysis method can cover other components. The method has a good application prospect in groundwater quality analysis.
