摘要

This article uses a novel construction of double buffer structure serving manufacturing systems and providing higher utilization of machines. The proposed system automatically changes parameters giving a possibility of predesign based on the actual demand rates. The effectiveness of manufacturing system using event-controlled buffers depends on the applied switching policies and on the method of the determination of demand rates. Each of the production system elements have simple analytical model. But, if they are connected together into the proposed event controlled buffer structure the only way of analysing the system processes is the simulation technique. The modelling of process when hybrid dynamical approach is applied for manufacturing scheduling is outlined in this paper.
