摘要

Undoped and ceria doped zirconia fine particles, obtained under hydrothermal conditions, were heated from 200℃ to 1000℃to investigate the monoclinic-tetragonal phase transformation. The nanosized powders exhibit suitable sinterability and reduced grain size in the sintered product. The ZrO_2 doped with 12 mol% CeO_2 was sintered to a single phase 100% tetragonal structure at 900℃ with a grain size of ~35 nm.
