Phosphorus in the sludge is released massively in the ozonation sludge reduction, Without phosphorus removal, it would increase the loading of the wastewater treatment plant when it recycles to the front of the plant as carbon substrate. Phosphorus can be removed by struvite formation. This paper investigated the influence factors of phosphorus removal from centrifugate of supernate of ozonation sludge reduction. The result showed that the removal rates of total phosphorus was 88.5%, respectively, under the optimal conditions.
