Improved LCD color performance using RGB gamma curve control

摘要

The technique presented in this paper maximizes LCD colorrnperformance by way of advanced gamma control technology.rnFirst, two gamma curves corresponding to two sub-pixels arernmixed to minimize gamma distortion off-axis, then RGB gammarncurve control is used to establish accurate on-axis color.rnIndependent RGB curve control for each sub-pixel improves the LCD’s performance both on- and off-axis.
