Dopant and host molecules for charge transport layerrnin OLED have been developed. They enablernimplementation of the PIN OLED technology in massrnproduction. We review the status of PIN OLED withrnmain focus on top-emission structures and operationrnstability at elevated temperatures.rnA green phosphorescent top-emission device withrn2.5 V operating voltage and 90 lm/W at 1000 cd/m2 isrnpresented. For a red top-emission device, lifetimernexceeding 100,000 h at 500 cd/m2 initial brightness isrnreported. Operational stability at 80°C has beenrninvestigated. A lifetime of 17,000 h at 500 cd/m2 hasrnbeen achieved.rnFinally, we comment on further reduction of thernoperating voltage in OLED.
