We proposed a simplified fabrication structure andrnmethod which can provide separate Red ?, Greenrn(G), Blue (B), and White (W) OLED pixels with 2rnmetal-mask changes in emitting layer fabricationrninspired from the structure of multi-layer white OLEDrnand carrier blocking mechanism. A red emission layerrnfor the R and W pixel with 1st mask, and then a bluernemission layer with hole blocking layer for the B andrnW pixel with 2nd mask, and finally a common greenrnemission layer were deposited sequentially. We expectrnthat this concept would be very useful to the actualrnfabrication of multi-color OLED display althoughrnadditional optimization is needed.
