摘要

1. Introduction Carbon dioxide resulting from the burning of fossil fuels in automobiles and power plants, which mostly contributes to global warming and sea level rise, has been causing a global environmental problem. Therefore, the storage of carbon dioxide has been focus on novel porous materials in current scientific research. Metalorganic framework(MOF) materials are good candidate for carbon dioxide storage owing to their ordered structures, adjustable chemical functionality, extra-high porosity and surface area. In this study, Co(bdc)bta (bdc= 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid, bta=benzotriazole) crystalline solid-state compound was synthesized and the good adsorption property for carbon dioxide would be obtained.
