摘要

Introduction Many wastewater streams containing organic pollutants in high concentration exhibit low biodegradability and/or high toxicity. Several studies have proposed Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) for the treatment of wastewaters generated by different industrial activities [1,2]. The aim of this work is the assessment of a continuous catalytic wet oxidation system using hydrogen peroxide (CWHPO) for the treatment of a real wastewater coming from an agrochemical production industry. Most of CWHPO processes have been carried out in batch reactors and focused on the study of model pollutants [3]. Hence, this research is not only addressed to the continuous treatment but also, it is dealing with the potential application of this technology for the treatment of a real wastewater.
