The low nitrogen content requiredfor highly ductile steel grades is not commonly realised in conventional eAF steelmaking practice. Sidenor has developed different rules to reduce the N_2 content taking into accoutn the effect of raw materials, EAF process and secondary metallurgy on the definition and evaluation of industrial low N_2 process.
