A Novel MAC Protocol for Integrated Data/Voice Services in CDMA Micro-Cellular Communication System

摘要

A joint overload-signal spread-spectrum/ packet reservation multiple access (OSSS/PRMA) protocol for the uplink channel in micro-cellular mobile communication system is proposed in this paper. The delay and throughput performances of our proposal are investigated by computer simulation. The simulation results show that the data packet delay and data packet throughput have been greatly improved compared with CDMA/PRMA protocol with adaptive permission probability control at the cost of a little decrease of voice packet throughput.
