We investigate performance of OFDM systems with the transmitter diversity and the receiver diversity, respectively, under the time-varying channel. When the Doppler frequency normalized by the OFDM subcarrier tone spacing is smaller than 0.001, the performances of two OFDM systems with the transmitter diversity and the receiver diversity are similar. However, the normalized frequency offset is greater than 0.001, the performance degradation of the transmitter is very severe.
