摘要

The design of a novel incoherent asynchronous optical fiber code-division multiple-access (CDMA) network is reported. In the network, concatenated codes of relatively large weight are used. Those codes are generated using balanced Gold and Lempel sequences as components. The bit-error rate (BER) performance of the system is presented as a function of the received optical power with the number of simultaneous users as parameter. The BER performance of the proposed system is also compared to that of another optical fiber CDMA scheme.
