This paper considers the design of accelerated life test(ALT) where two stress variables are involved with possible interaction between them. It is assumed that the lifetimes have either lognormal or Weibull distributions, the means of which depend on the stresses according to generalized Eyring law. A factorial arrangement of test points is considered, and the low level of each stress and the proportion of test items allocated to each test point are determined such that the asymptotic variance of the maximum likelihood estimator of a specified quantile of log lifetime distribution at design stresses is minimized.
