TOLERANCE DESIGN METHOD

摘要

In robust design process, the phase after the parameter design is known as the tolerance design phase. In this phase, the designer specifies the performance variation of the optimized parameters for determining the magnitude of the tolerances of the optimized parameter. Normally, this study also includes an analysis of the trade-off between product quality and product cost for mass production. In this paper we focus on a presentation of a methodology to evaluate the tolerances according to a given specification.
