The Performance Analysis of High-speed Data Modulation in WLAN

摘要

High-speed baseband modulation is a key technology used in WLAN. MBOK and CCK have been widely adopted by 802.11b, in data transmission of 5.5Mbps and 11Mbps. This paper first presents the fundamental principles of MBOK and CCK, then gives a BER(Bit Error Rate) analysis of MBOK, a calculation of their spread spectrum gains and further comparison between their performances.
