Corrosion behavior of copper-nickel alloys has been well documented in the last few decades.Differences in the service lives of 90Cu-10Ni alloy tubes delivered by different manufacturers have been a major concern for the end users.Investigation on the electrochemical behavior and corrosion product film formed on the surface of three 90Cu-10Ni alloy tubes designated as Tubes A,B and C after immersion in 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution were performed.
