摘要

This paper is special in modifying effects of one kind of redispersible polymer powders on both fresh and hardened mortar. The results show that it sharply enhances workability and water retention of fresh mortar, reduces bulk density of fresh and hardened mortars. It also enhances flexural strength and tensile bond strength of mortar, but influences compressive strength and elastic modulus of mortar significantly. With a big adulteration, it increases toughness of mortar significantly. Tensile bond strength and flexural strength have good relationships with density of fresh mortar. But There are not clear relations among the compressive strength, elastic modulus and the density of fresh mortar.
