REROUTING WITH CONSIDERING COMMUNICATION NETWORK RELIABILITY

摘要

Rerouting with considering network reliability is an important network management function for survivable high-speed network, which may improve traffic reliability. In this paper, we review the state of the art of rerouting strategy including restoration approaches, restoration techniques etc. and compare them. The paper gives their merits and demerits, which is helpful to propose appropriate rerouting strategy for high-speed network. Based on literatures, an effective architecture to make a reasonable rerouting strategy under network failures is presented. And some effective measures to improve traffic reliability are given. At last, this paper gives the directions for further study.
