摘要

This paper reviews results of EPRI and International Cooperative projects aimed at improving the understanding of basic processes leading to formation of deposits and corrosion in low pressure steam turbines. Experimental data on deposition, distribution of impurities between vapor and liquid, and results of theoretical modeling are discussed. The data provide new insight into the chemical-physical processes governing behavior of chemical impurities and additives in steam cycles.
