Cycle Chemistry in South Africa 'Where Are We Now and Where Are We Going'

Key success factors related to cycle chemistry have been identified. Current focus areas are oxygen treatment for drum boilers, reducing oragnics in make-up water, sulphate deposition in the steam cycle and chemistry performance indicators. Future focus areas will include international collaboration in research, in-situ measurements, organics removal and expert systems for cycle chemistry.
