Prepared Discussion of: The Cutting Edge of Cycle Chemistry for Fossil Plants

The author did a fine job of summarizing the current state-of-knowledge in fossil plant cycle chemistry and in identifying future needs. Indeed, under the leadership of R.B.Dooley, the Cycle Chemistry Improvement Program (CCIP) and the Boiler Tube Failure Reduction Program (BTFRP) have contributed tremendously to the body of knowledge available on cycle chemistry.
