Since the total power loss of ADEOS-II, charging of satellites in polar orbit become a serious problem for Japanese spacecraft engineers. As one of the solution, development of a computation software named Multi-utility Spacecraft Charging Analysis Tool (MUSCAT) started in November, 2004. The simulation code is going to be used for a polar satellite as well as for a GEO satellite or a low inclination LEO satellite. The development includes four major parts: development of the GUI, development of functions of the solver, speeding up and code validation. In last ten months, basic function of satellite modeling was developed for GUI. Effect of secondary electron emission and photoelectron emission were included in the solver. Parallelization made progress in computation speed and experiment facility for code validation was installed and preliminary test was accomplished.
