Development of Optical Connector to Achieve Large-Scale Optical Network Construction

We developed a new optical connector for realizing connections in aerial networks. The connector is designed to shorten the lead time for releasing high-speed Internet services to the customer. When the connector is in an aerial network, it allows easy connection work and eliminates the need for optical fiber storage. In addition, only the connector has to be replaced during switching work when a customer applies for a change in service content, and the working time needed to achieve a connection is shortened.
