A Novel Aerial Air-Blown Solution for FTTH Networks using Pre-Terminated Fiber and Micro Cables

摘要

A novel aerial air-blown fiber access solution for FTTH networks is introduced. The solution is based on a combination of pre-connected air-blown fiber and air-blown micro cables and is adapted for specific needs for aerial installations. The solution is described, including specially designed products and installation methods. Technical and economical advantages are highlighted.The solution has been installed in several places around the world and result from an installation test is presented.
