THE IAF SPACE EDUCATION AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE: STRUCTURE, ACTIVITIES AND OPERATIONS

In 2004 the IAF Space Education and Outreach Committee undertook a review of its activities and operations. During the review the SEOC: 1. Reviewed its current status 2. Considered its mission and its activities in support of this mission and what sort of activities it might wish to undertake in the future. 3. Discussed SEOC membership categories, criteria for election/selection and continued membership, representation of different sectors of the space community on the committee. 4. Determined how the SEOC might best organise itself to carry out its activities including committee structure, key roles and responsibilities and communication mechanisms.
