摘要

The stable and economical operation of a blast furnace requires a precise understanding of the in-furnace status through sensing in actual operation. Therefore. Kobe Steel has developed the descending probe, the microwave profilemeter, the deadman coke sampler, raceway probe, and so on. By using these sensors, we have found the actual optimum condition in furnace and controled the gas distribution by the Center Coke Charging and movable armor. Consequently, the blast furnace operation has been remakably imprgved and a high pellet ratio operation, a low-coke-rate operation and a high PC rate operation was successfully achieved at Kakogawa blast furnaces.
