摘要

Absorption refrigeration is a well-known technology for refrigeration applications. Cogeneration of powerrnand refrigeration can improve significantly the energy utilisation efficiency. Various thermodynamic cyclesrnwith ammonia/water (NH_3/H_2O) as working fluid, have been suggested in the literature for the generation ofrnpower and refrigeration. However, the use of NH_3/H_2O working fluid has some limitations due to thernrectification process. In this study, thermodynamic analyses of a modified single-stage absorptionrnrefrigeration cycle with non-conventional working fluids (ammonia/lithium nitrate and ammonia/sodiumrnthiocyanate) are performed. The three working fluids are compared using several performance indicators.rnThe simulation results have shown that ammonia/lithium nitrate and ammonia/sodium thiocyanate arernsuitable alternatives to NH_3/H_2O working fluid.
