THE APPLIED RESEARCH OF SMART CARD IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF LOGISTICS

Logistic Identification Technology is an automatic identifying technology in order to realize commodities' identification information to be obtained quickly and accurately. As the medium, of logistic identification, the code has the following disadvantages: little information capacity, relying on network, certain requirement for printing quality and using environment, unable to describe the change of information, poor false-proof. The Smart Card, especially non-contacting smart Card, because of its' principle and manufacturing technology, has bigger advantage in applying to logistic identification. The paper makes a preliminary studies on the application of Smart card in logistic identification, and put forward the authors opinions in applying.
