STUDY ON XML/EDI MODEL BASED ON SOFT-AGENT

摘要

Electronic Data Interchange transmits and process data among enterprises has widely applied. The extensible Markup Language is becoming a new standard for commerce data interchange as a new language for describing structured data, it will be the next generation of EDI to avoid traditional EDI's defaults. In this paper, we build some tag for various data segment, complex data element and simple data element corresponding to EDIFACT component. The some templates are constructed to describe EDIFACT document using XML schema to build XML/EDI interchange structure. Soft-agents are programs not only to process XML data in according with templates, and also transform XML message to database for background commerce process. And, an example of invoice is given to describe the XML/EDI model and its operative process.
