DYNAMIC DESIGN OF BELT CONVEYOR

摘要

This paper provides a viscoelastic oscillatory equation of belt conveyor with different take-up assembly, and studies the equation's displacement properties and calculation method of dynamic tension. It gives a dynamic design method of take-up assembly, drive assembly and brake assembly, and studies a design method of limiting conveyor belt's elastic vibration and stopping safely downward conveyor belt. Some examples of the belt conveyors in China are presented for the calculation and comparision with numerical calculation results from American and Australian CDI (Conveyor Dynamics, Inc.); the two sets of calculation results are very close. The method the paper provides can be applied to theoretical study and engineering design.
