THE DISCUSSION OF THE DYNAMIC DESIGN OF BELT CONVEYORS

The belt sag, the primary run resistance, the equivalent mass of roller are easily neglected or simplified in the previous dynamic design. In this paper the three factors are discussed. At the same time the necessity of resonance-free design is involved. Considering the economical factor, the author also discusses the economic advantage of using narrow and high-speed belts for long distance, large tonnage conveyor belts.
