STUDY ON RAILWAY CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION HANDLING TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT CHOICE

According to the railway container freight station's amount of traffic, container yard layout and handling machineries, etc. factors, the front handling mobile crane and rail mounted transtainer handling technology are usually used in railway container freight stations. The technical and economic reasonableness comparison between the two handling technology show that the rail mounted transtainer handling technology system is suited to be used in large, medium railway container freight stations and the front handling mobile crane technology to be used in some miniature stations.
