Investigation on manufacturing informatics approach for supporting creative design of products

摘要

It is well known that manufacturing movements consists of manufacturing material movements consists of manufacturing material movements and manufacturing informaiton movemdents. Chacteristics of manufacturing informatics and manufacturing informatics approach are explained. Classifications of manufacturing informaiton are given. Several definitions and hypotheses for manufacturing informatics are listed. Case study for using manufacturing informatics approach in creative design of products is given. It is concluded that manufacturing informatics is the importent basis for creative design of products.
