By modeling the seabed, using a thin plate approximation for elastic and poroelastic materials, it is possible to get a compact representation for the scattered wave in terms of an incident wave on an inclusion. This is the means for setting up the Intersecting Canonical Domain Method to determine an unknown inclusion.
