CPC Roll Performance at Dofasco's 68-inch Hot Mill

At the Dofasco Hot Mill, the overall performance of CPC rolls is superior to that of cast HSS rolls. However, in order for them to be cost effective, CPC rolls must be used for triple campaigns. In Stands 1 to 3, conditions to permit triple campaigns have been achieved and both quality and cost benefits are being experienced.
