We could classify uphill tunnel adjacent rock into two categories; I category adjacent rock and II category adjacent rock b y using method of fuzzy overall merit, according to physical mechanical parameters of tunnel adjacent rock mechanical assay of transport uphill and rail uphill to the No. 1 mine section of Gequan Coal Mine. It is synthesis considered to theoretical arithmetic of uphill tunnel roof and numerical simulation result of uphill stability, that I category adjacent rock roof need not be supported, and II category adjacent rock roof need be supported by using en-block bolt when adjacent rock roof is more intact, but when it is badly fracture, using bolt additional bolt-net support is required, and adding cable-bolt.
