Comparative Study on Suspended Matter Concentration Retrieval Algorithm by Landsat TM Data in Bohai Sea

摘要

This paper introduces an algorithm correction method of suspended matter concentration and compares the errors of the original and the corrected algorithms. The precision of the corrected algorithms meets the requirement in Case II water. In addition, the comparison between the corrected algorithms is also made, which reveals that the algorithm, Ratio Logarithmic, has a minimal retrieval error. These results indicate that the corrected algorithms have great potential in the application, but more validation work needs to be done because only one TM image was used in the above study.
