摘要

This paper presents active and reactive power loss reduction and system voltage improvement by multiple placement of distributed generator (DG) in micro-grid using reactive loading index. The weakest branch has to be considered where reactive loading index is minimum. The usefulness of the proposed reduced active power loss without and with considering DG has been successfully applied on a 12.66 kV radial distribution network consisting of 33 nodes and the results are found to be in very good agreement.
