摘要

Code provisions for seismic design of concrete structures with fibre reinforced polymers (FRP), including repair and strengthening, have been proposed in the Canadian Standards Association CSA-S806 standard "Design and Construction of Building Components with Fibre Reinforced Polymers". This paper presents the concepts and the approaches of the code provisions adopted for new design and rehabilitation of existing concrete structures. Shear strength, flexural confinement and lap splice retrofit of columns, and flexural and shear strength enhancement of concrete walls for earthquake resistance are discussed.
