摘要

Traditional scroll compressors take a sliding bush between shaft and journal bearing of orbiting scroll as a radial compliance mechanism. For a larger clearance between sliding bush and shaft, a scroll compressor with such radial compliance mechanism usually produces higher noise caused by contact of relative elements such as fixed scroll, orbiting scroll, sliding bush and shaft. Rechi Precision had developed a new radial compliance mechanism for the scroll compressor called MRC, minimum radial compliance. This new design reduces noise significantly by minimizing the clearance between sliding bush and shaft. This paper illustrates the design and comparison of test results between the MRC mechanism and traditional sliding bush mechanism.
